A Time to Give Thanks

Thanksgiving is always a special holiday for me because it provides a formal opportunity to give thanks to those who make such a difference in my life. Like many of you, I am most grateful for my family — not just for the bond I share with those who are related to me by blood, but also for the connection I have to my MDC family.

Every day, I have the pleasure of seeing the way your work influences and inspires our community. You — the College's faculty, staff and students — make MDC such a wonderful place to work and study, and I am grateful to have you here, grateful for all that you do for our community and for the difference that you make in the lives of so many people.

I know that times have been challenging, but as members of the MDC family, we are in a unique position to transform the lives of individuals who would not otherwise have a chance to succeed. Helping others is a gift like no other, and one for
which we can all be immensely thankful.

Please know that you have earned my appreciation, much more so than I can express in this brief message, and I would like to wish you and your loved ones a very happy Thanksgiving.

Thank you, again, for all that you do for our College and our community.

Eduardo
