Freedom Tower at Miami Dade College Named Finalist in “Best Building” Competition
The National Historic Landmark Freedom Tower at Miami Dade College is in the running in the Florida Association of the American Institute of Architects (AIA)’s contest to identify the most beautiful building in Florida. AIA Florida launched the Florida Architecture: 100 Years, 100 Places competition to commemorate its centennial. The contest showcases the top 100 Florida buildings that represent the best in architectural achievement, as chosen by the organization. The public has been asked to select a favorite from these buildings. You can show your support for MDC's Freedom Tower by voting now. Voting closes April 6 at midnight, with results announced the following week.
