SAS Homestead Rising Senior Camille Molas Receives President Obama's Volunteer Gold Service Award June 28, 2016

Miami, June 28, 2016 - Camille Molas, a rising senior at School for Advanced Studies, has been devoting a lot of her time and energy over the last year to children with intellectual and physical challenges. Her goal is to raise awareness that children with special needs not be seen as people with limited expectations.

ON Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at a ceremony at Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus, all the campus presidents of MDC came together to recognize the efforts of Camille and others in Miami. She was presented with the President's Volunteer Gold Service Award and received a letter from President Barack Obama thanking her for helping to address the most pressing needs in her community and the country.

Miami Dade College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate and baccalaureate degrees.
