Miami, November 14, 2016 - The School for Advanced Studies Kendall and West Campuses combined their efforts to carry out "Operation Christmas Child" in 2016 under the leadership of the SAS Kids Club sponsor Samay Alvarez.

They collected 317 wrapped Christmas presents that will be sent to needy children all over the world through the Vineyard Community Church.

Operation Christmas Child began on a nationwide basis in 1970 and has made Christmas merry for hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of children in underdeveloped countries all over the world since that time. The SAS students at Kendall and West were proud to be a part of such a worthy effort.

There will at least be 317 children this Christmas that will have a Merrier Christmas due to the efforts of these high school students.
