Miami, February 1, 2013 - SAS Kendall students under the sponsorship of Ms. Teresa Dean competed in the 14th Annual Fairchild Challenge Debates on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Fairchild Tropical Botanical Gardens.

The "SAS Team A" consisting of Alyson Diaz and Camila Basora took First Place as the Top Debate Team.

They debated the questions of whether or not local businesses should be required to reduce food waste by 20% and whether the eligibility requirements for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) should be lowered.
