Hala Hachem is a Future Medical Leader

Hala student poses for picture at event

Miami, August 7, 2017 - This summer, Hala Hachem, a rising junior at SAS Kendall Campus, took part in the annual Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Lowell, Massachusetts. Every year the greatest minds in the medical field gather to speak and pass down their knowledge to the future of medicine. During her three days at the Congress, she got to hear from Nobel Laureates, teenage inventors, medical scientists, and ground-breaking surgeons. Yet, the Congress was much more than endless lectures, it was a like a giant family reunion. Hala got to meet people from all across America who shared the same passion about medicine that she does, and that was Hala's favorite part of the experience. The Congress confirmed her decision of one day wanting to become a surgeon.
