Miami, February 20, 2018 - On February 16-18, 2018 a group of young ladies, sponsored by their teacher, Dr. Michele Mar, flew to Washington, D.C. to participate in the Junior Statesman of America (JSA) Winter Congress. the SAS North Campus students had the opportunity to participate in mock legislative sessions where they could argue for and against specific proposed legislation. These young ladies from Miami also got to see several inches of snow that fell on Saturday. Thanks to Dr. Mar for dedicating most of her holiday weekend to chaperoning the students in D.C.
