SAS Senior Santiago Gutierrez Speaks at Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce Education Breakfast

Santiago Guitierrez

Miami, December 2, 2014 - Santiago Gutierrez, SAS Class of 2015, was honored to speak at the education breakfast of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, November 20, 2014. He made quite an impression on the Superintendent of Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Alberto Carvalho. Superintendent Carvalho referenced Santiago several times in his own speech as he held Santiago up as one of the fine examples of students who attend our public schools.

Less than two weeks after this special breakfast, Santiago received the fantastic news that he will be attending Stanford University in Palo Alto, California on a full scholarship through the QuestBridge Program.

Congratulations are most definitely in order.
