SAS 2015 QuestBridge Scholar Finalists

Miami, October 23, 2015 - Karen Camacho, Dania Etienne, Norberto Orellana, Maurizio Diaz, Diego Vergara, Juan Arciniegas, Maria Jose Acosta, Abraham Rodriguez, Dan Sheikh, Geraldine Lara, Deyanira Mares, Yenny Dieguez, Saad Siddiqui, Cass Phanord, Javier Cuadra, Kwasi Fahie, Santiago Tobar Potes, Yasmin Garcia, Allan Gelman and Danny Gelman are the fortunate SAS 2015 QuestBridge Finalists.

To have 20 Finalists at one high school in Miami with only 275 graduating seniors is an incredible achievement. SAS Principal, Dr. Omar Monteagudo, was ecstatic when he received the news and congratulates the students for their extraordinary accomplishment.

The selection of QuestBridge Finalists is based on their academic, financial, and extracurricular credentials. Finalists who ranked colleges will be considered for the College Match Scholarship, which covers tuition, room and board, and other expenses for all four years of college. On December 1st, results of the College Match will be announced.




Miami Dade College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate and baccalaureate degrees.
