The SAS 2015 Science Olympiad "A Team" has qualified to compete in the Science Olympiad state tournament in Orlando which will be held on Saturday, March 21.

The qualifying competition involving over 40 high schools from South Florida was held at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton on February 21, 2015. Only the top teams advance to the state finals and SAS was among that select group of schools.

Miami Dade College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate and baccalaureate degrees.
