SAS Wolfson Junior Debora Gonzalez Takes 3rd Place in Cervantes Essay Contest

Deborah Gonzalez, a junior at SAS Wolfson, was honored as the Third Place Winner in the 2015 Cervantes Essay Contest sponsored by Nova Southeastern University. She will be recognized at a special ceremony that will be held at the Miami Airport Hilton on Tuesday, October 27, 2015.

Senior high school students submit 500 word essays to the Cervantes Essay Contest committee which judges all of the essays. Nova Southeastern seeks to highlight the 230,000 Hispanic origin students who live in Miami-Dade County through a series of activities related to Hispanic Heritage.


Miami Dade College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate and baccalaureate degrees.
