SAS Junior Wins Violet Richardson Scholarship for $1,000

Miami, January 9, 2015 - School for Advanced Studies junior Daniela Bond has been selected for this year's Violet Richardson Award for South Dade. She will be honored at a luncheon/ceremony later this month where she will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Daniela was selected due to her outstanding community service project that empowered young girls to become leaders in their communities. The award is given to a young woman who is committed to making the world a better place and has demonstrated initiative in both identifying a problem and trying to solve it.
