SAS Senior Wins First Place in State Journalism Awards

Miami, October 22, 2014 - School for Advanced Studies (SAS) senior Angela Delgado is on the staff of the Reporter, which is the school newspaper for Miami Dade College. This week there was good news for both the Reporter and for Delgado. The Reporter was named as the top community college newspaper in Florida for the fourth year in a row and Delgado was awarded the First Place Trophy for Best News Photo in Florida. These accolades were presented by the Florida College System Publications Association in Boca Raton on Saturday, October 18, 2014.




Miami Dade College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate and baccalaureate degrees.
