SAS Seniors Awarded Broad Prize Scholarship

Miami, May 8, 2012 - SCHOOL FOR ADVANCED STUDIES SENIORS AWARDED $20,000 BROAD PRIZE SCHOLARSHIP
 
Christopher Hurtado from School for Advanced Studies Kendall Campus and Felicia White from School for Advanced Studies Wolfson Campus were recognized on May 8, 2012 as two of only eight recipients of the distinguished 2012 Broad Prize Scholarship in Miami Dade County. Both of these outstanding SAS seniors were awarded a scholarship in the amount of $20,000.
 
Representatives from the Broad Prize for Urban Education, MDCPS Superintendent Alberto Carvalho, and MDCPS School Board Member Dr. Larry Feldman were present to congratulate the scholarship recipients at a special ceremony.
