Miami, December 2, 2013 - State Senator Anitere Flores visited six classes at School for Advanced Studies Kendall Campus in the afternoon of December 2, 2013 and was accompanied by SAS Principal Dr. Omar Monteagudo and Miami Dade College (MDC) Kendall Campus President Dr. Lourdes Oroza.

Ms. Flores entertained questions from the students and encouraged them to enter public service in the future. She currently represents the 37th District in the Florida Senate which includes the Kendall Campus of SAS/MDC. She is one of only 40 senators for the state of Florida so it was quite an honor to have her visit SAS.
