Miami, June 2, 2015 - Maria Acosta is a student in the SAS Class of 2016 and has been chosen to receive a $1,000 scholarship from the Carson Scholars Fund Inc. for 2015. She was honored recently at a special luncheon in Fort Myers, Florida as an exemplary student and role model. Dr. Ben Carson is an announced candidate for President of the United States in 2016 and is the originator of this scholarship awarded to select high school students.
