SAS Homestead and SAS North Exceed Their United Way Student Fundraising Goals

Miami, February 10, 2014 - On Monday, March 10, 2014, Miami-Dade County Public Schools and United Way held a brunch at the Hilton Hotel on Biscayne Boulevard to honor each school that met or exceeded their United Way student fundraising goals for 2014. Congratulations to SAS Homestead and SAS North for achieving that goal and being part of the ceremony.

Ron Magill of Zoo Miami served as the emcee for the event and MDCPS Superintendent Alberto Carvalho congratulated the students on their accomplishment.

Miami Dade College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate and baccalaureate degrees.
