Valerie Francillon Invited to Amherst College Diversity Open House

Miami, October 15, 2014 - SAS senior Valerie Francillon has been invited to participate in an all expense paid trip to Amherst College in Massachusetts this weekend. She will be part of a select group of students from all over the United States who will attend classes at Amherst and spend two evenings in their residence halls to learn about campus life at this top tier liberal arts college.

The Diversity Open House Program is designed for students likely to be offered admission at Amherst and while Valerie is on the campus, she will meet with admissions and financial aid officers to prepare her for success in the application process.

Miami Dade College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate and baccalaureate degrees.
