Eligibility

A School for Advanced Studies application is available for all public, private, and homeschool students who are currently in the tenth grade.  SAS is not a magnet school.  Student selection is based solely on the order of application and completion of basic requirements for admission.

  • minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA
  • record of good attendance
  • record of good citizenship
  • Passing scores on three sections of the Postsecondary Education Readiness Test (PERT)
