I realized I was unhappy with my previous high school when I was ashamed to tell new people I met where I attended school. Since I entered SAS, I have never encountered this situation.

SAS gave me a place where I feel I belong, a place I can proudly announce "This is my school!" At SAS, I am challenged daily with a pool of my peers. These challenges are no smooth sailing, but they provide me the ambition to learn; the motivation to succeed, to thrive; and the stimuli my intellect sought. SAS emits excitement, not necessarily an every day happy, fun excitement, but an excitement of the senses and mind. I am constantly active and in motion here at school.

SAS instilled me with pride in my achievements. It is good to be proud of your accomplishments, while avoiding arrogance. I am happy to say, "Yes, I am graduating high school with an Associate's Degree." Emerging from SAS, I have a positive perception of myself and my abilities to succeed in the competitive world that I know I would not have been able to receive anywhere else.

After SAS, I will be attending Boston University in the Fall of 2017 as a Journalism Major, hopefully receiving my Bachelor's Degree in two years thanks to the resources SAS provides for its students.
