Dean's Message

Heather BelmontMy name is Dr. Heather Belmont, Dean of the School of Science, and I would like to invite you to explore the world of opportunities that we offer through the School of Science. 

Offering courses at seven of our seven campuses in addition to our two centers, we strive to provide all students with access to academic opportunities and state-of-the-art technology that will help everyone achieve their career goals in the sciences.  Program offerings through the School of Science include College Credit Certificates, Associate in Science degrees, Associate in Arts degrees, as well as the Bachelor of Science with a Major in Biological Sciences, which has been approved by the Florida Department of Education for implementation in fall of 2012. 

We work closely with local employers to confirm that our programs meet industry needs and provide a wealth of hands-on opportunities with highly, qualified instructors to ensure that our students are career ready.
