Science Careers

An education in the sciences is an education with a future. In the state of Florida, many of the highest paying jobs are in the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields, and our region's employers are in need of workers with the skills and advanced education our programs and degrees provide.

Many of Miami Dade College's science programs provide you with practical, hands-on experience that reinforces the classroom knowledge our region's employers demand.

In addition, our programs provide a career ladder that allows you to progressively update your skills. Our Biotechnology college credit certificate articulates to a number of associate degrees that, in turn, can lead to our Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences.
