Entrepreneurs

The Small Business Education Program will offer a workshop for potential business owners. Participants must live in one of the target areas: Overtown, Allapattah, Wynwood, Downtown Miami and surrounding areas, and specific areas in Miami Beach. 

A group of experts from the private, government, and non-profit sectors will be speaking of the following topics: how to start a small business, incorporating a business, taxes, sources of information, marketing, business plan framework and home-based businesses.

This workshop will be held in English at Miami Dade College, Wolfson Campus on April 23, 2013.

In order to register, candidates must first fill out an online application. The applications will be reviewed, and participants will be notified by email or phone. Space is limited and there is a high demand for program participants.
