  • Tobacco Free Florida - free online assistance
  • The Florida Department of Health offers a toll-free quit-line, 1-877-U-CAN-NOW (1-877-822-6669), and a Web site, www.floridaquitline.com, with free resources in English and Spanish. Counselors are available 24 hours a day.
  • The American Cancer Society offers a toll-free phone line, 1-800-QUIT-NOW (1-800-784-8669).
  • The National Cancer Institute offers a toll-free phone line, 1-877-44U-QUIT (1-877-448-7848), with access to English- and Spanish-speaking counselors.
  • The Miami-Dade Area Health Education Center (AHEC) offers free tobacco cessation classes, 305-597-3640, www.mdahec.org/CessationServices.asp or smokefree@mdahec.org.
