Acrylic Painting for Teens -$110
Teens will learn the basics of acrylic painting using simple skill exercises: mixing colors, washes, blending colors, brushwork. Contact Coordinator for List of Materials before class starts.
Create Your Own Song for Teens -$110
Thanks to today's technology we are now able to do things at home that were never before possible. In this course students will learn how to create their own song using Apple's popular music production software called Garage Band. The class completely reviews Garage Band in all of its facets including production, recording vocals and instruments, and mixing. By weeks end, each student will have a "Hit Song" to call their own. Digital Photography for Teens -$110
This course provides an introduction to the fascinating technology that is catapulting the photographic world into the 21st century. We'll discuss the basics of digital photography, equipment, software, the digital darkroom, printing, Internet and e-mail use, along with commercial and personal applications. Etiquette & Leadership Skills for Teens (12-17 yrs) -$85
Develop confidence and self-assurance for social and professional situations by learning great leadership skills. Students will learn proper manners, posture, how to address adults, how to behave in public places, personal appearance, and do's and don'ts at dinner.
Miami Cityscape Sketching for Teens -$110
Miami has its own brand of amazing architecture, dazzling designs and a towering skyline that makes the city unique. The downtown landscape is a great drawing project for art enthused teens. Teens will draw freehand while learning the history of the city. Contact Coordinator for List of Materials before class starts.
Motorized Mechanisms by LEGO® -$110
Students will learn basic principles of design technology, science and mathematics through a series of hands-on activities. Students will build and explore machines and mechanisms, investigate motorized machines, calibrate and capture wind and study gearing mechanism.
Polymer Clay Art for Teens -$110
Teens will create wonderful gifts, jewelry and décor items from polymer clay using techniques of crafting with colorful clay. Contact Coordinator for List of Materials before class starts.
