Distance Learning Examinations
The testing criteria and guidelines for Distance Learning Examinations are as follows:
As a public service, Miami Dade College supervises examinations for other institutions under the following conditions:
- Arrangements for such testing must be made in advance prior to Miami Dade College's receipt of the examination.
- There is a minimum charge of $30 for the first hour. Plus $30 for each additional hour or fraction thereof. Failure to present the required payment will prevent the examination from being forwarded to the home institution. The fee covers handling of the examination consistent with sound testing procedures and the instructions from the home institution; completion of any and all forms; mailing the examination within the United States via regular mail and actual supervision while taking the test. This policy applies to everyone requesting this service (including Miami Dade College students). Please note that payments for special shipping requests, such as International and Next Day/2nd day deliveries will be the responsibility of the examinee or the home institution.
- After completion of this form, please contact the Testing Department for payment arrangements.
- Although every effort will be made to accommodate all requests, the actual scheduling of the examination will be made solely by the Testing Department based on the availability of personnel and other relevant factors.
- The examinee will be required to present two forms of valid identification before the test session begins.

| Examinees must be checked-in and seated by the time scheduled in order to begin the assessment. Consequently, examinees will have adequate time to finish the assessment in a reasonable period or within the Testing Department’s Office Hours of Operation. |

| MDC testing fees are non-refundable/non-transferable. Examinees must pick up a payment form at the campus Testing Department and submit it to the Bursar’s Office prior to taking an MDC fee related test. MDC accepts cash, check, money orders, or credit/debit cards. Make sure to save the receipt for proof of payment. |
