Industry Certifications

Get certified and get reimbursed!

An industry certification is an industry-recognized credential that employers understand and value. Industry certifications can be earned by students enrolled at MDC while pursuing an academic credential. The benefits to the student are many, including:

  • Access to many industry certification examinations at MDC
  • Incentive to continue toward academic goal
  • Potential for earning college credit
  • Early entry in a field or career of interest
  • Increased earning potential
  • Added value to resumés and future job prospects

Students can earn credit for licenses and certifications in diverse number of subjects and industries. There are hundreds of industry certifications and licensure which can be redeemed for college credit if they are current and valid. From areas as diverse as those listed below and many of the exams are available through MDC testing centers:
