PERT - Test Prep Options - MEEC

Miami Dade College students must confirm that alternative remediation has occurred since their first PERT attempt. Test Prep options for the second PERT attempt include, but are not limited to, taking a practice test, attending “Bootcamp,” receiving tutorial assistance, and enrolling in special courses.

Available College Prep Reading/Writing Test Preparation Programs

  1. Test Prep PERT “Bootcamp” Course for direct-entry high school students (Continuing Education).
  2. Continuing Education PERT courses - Available February 2013.
  3. Academic Resource Lab: computer based and one-on-one Reading/Writing tutoring available.

Available Mathematics Test Preparation Programs

  1. Test Prep PERT “Bootcamp” Course for direct-entry high school students (Continuing Education)
  2. Continuing Education PERT Courses - Available February 2013. “Math Section Express”: drop-in tutoring (Academic Resource Lab, Room 1202)

PERT Practice Exam - Miami Dade College’s Pre Placement Preparation (3P’s) test is a FREE online practice test that simulates the PERT.

Note: Effective October 18, 2016 access is available for students who received an MDID # on or after June 23, 2016.
