MDC Awarded Gold Medal For Outstanding Achievement

Miami Dade College was awarded the Gold Medal for Outstanding Achievement at Miami Today’s 12th Annual Gold Medal Awards on May 6.
MDC President Eduardo J. Padrón and MDC Trustee Marielena A. Villamil accepted the award for the College’s work and service over the past year in the Miami community.
In addition, Elizabeth Nicoli-Suco, a professor at Wolfson Campus, was awarded a Bronze Medal.
Nicoli-Suco was named the 2010 U.S. Professor of the Year for the state of Florida by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.
