Hispanic Video Contest

The Hispanic College Quiz an organization that encourages students of Hispanic descent to embrace their cultural background, is offering a scholarship opportunity to Miami Dade College students.

The organization is currently accepting video submission from students through Oct. 16. Students need to state why their heritage is important to them. They intend to spread the importance of cultural diversity amongst the student body.

The videos will be up for vote, and the top three students will receive scholarships: First place will win $5,000, second place will win $2,500, and third place will win $1,000.
