The Miami Dade College volleyball team beat  Palm Beach State College 25-15, 25-17, 20-15. Marifranchi Rodriguez: 14 kills, 13 blocks and four digs
Brittany Ce’celia Spencer: Five kills,  and two blocks
Rosan Rivera: Eight kills, 16 digs,  and two aces.

Oct. 7 and Oct. 8

MDC defeated Polk State College 21-25, 26-24, 22-25, 25-16, 15-11
MDC defeated Hillsborough Community College 25-20, 25-17, 20-25, 26-28, 15-10
MDC defeated College of Central Florida 18-25, 26-24, 20-25, 25-23, 15-11
MDC defeated Missouri State University-West Plains 30-28, 25-14, 14-25, 25-19

Marifranchi Rodriguez was Tournament MVP; Brittany Ce’celia Spencer was selected for the All-Tournament Team.
