Miami Dade College Green Lecture Series

Miami Dade College’s Green Lecture Series will occur on Nov.10 at InterAmerican Campus, 627 S.W. 27 Ave., in Room 401, in an effort to promote environmental awareness.
The series includes MDC’s Alternative Transportation Program, which will serve to educate the GET2MDC website and free emergency rides program. Additionally, the New Initiatives in Dade County for Mass Transit will be presented by Nelly Navarro and Debbie Griner from 8:25-9:40 a.m.
From 9:50-10:50 a.m. Captain Dan Kipnis will present Climate Change and the Oceans, about climate change, sea level rise and the impact on the oceans.
