Service Learning and Volunteering at the Book Fair

The 2011 Miami Book Fair International is looking for volunteers for Nov. 13-20. The festival will place at the Wolfson Campus.
It will feature six nights of readings and discussions with award-winning authors, and a street fair from Nov. 18-20. The highlight of the Street Fair is the Festival of Authors, with more than 350 authors reading and discussing their work.
Each volunteer will be able to choose which area they wish to pursue including ushering, marketing, and clerical work. Credit for Service Learning, as well as a free T-shirt with the festival’s logo, will be given to each volunteer. To sign-up, log on to the Miami Book Fair website.
