Literary Takeover

More than 200,000 people were estimated to have attended the Miami Book Fair International this year, once again proving that it is the biggest literary event in the nation. Celebrating its 28th anniversary, MBFI highlighted Chinese literature and traditions. The eight-day fair took place from Nov.13-20 at Miami Dade College's Wolfson Campus. Presented by the Florida Center for the Literary Arts at MDC, the fair featured the “Evenings With…” series, which included more than 450 authors from around the world, the IberoAmerican Authors program, Student Literary Encounters, Children’s Alley and the Weekend Festival of Authors—including comics and graphic novel panels, author presentations for tweens and teens, and much more.
