Mexico Security Crisis Panel

On Dec. 6, Miami Dade College's Center for Latin American and Caribbean Initiatives and the Center for Latin American Studies hosted an open forum on the security crisis in Mexico at the Wolfson Campus.
The panel discussed the violence in Mexico as police are facing security issues with Mexican drug gangs. The panel also debated about the crisis with the U.S./Mexico border.
Among the panel's speakers: Jesús Alberto López Gonzalez, the general director and professor at El Colegio de Veracruz, Mexico and Carlos Barrezueta, executive director of MDC’s CLACI, who moderated the panel.
