North Campus Student Government Association will host Art Expo on March 7 at North Campus, 11380 N.W. 27th Ave., in the breezeway of building four from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
The free event will allow students to create their own piece of fine art based on recycling materials such as old newspapers, paint, and colored papers. Poets will also have the opportunity to share their work.
“We want to reach the artistic side of our students,” said SGA vice president of North Campus, Richard Minott.
The event is open to students, faculty and alums. There will be music, free snow cones and popcorn.
