MDC President Recipient Of Leadership Award

Miami Dade College President Eduardo J. Padrón is the recipient of the 2012 TIAA-CREF Theodore M. Hesburgh Award.
On March 12, Padrón officially received the award during the annual meeting of the American Council on Education in Los Angeles, California.
The award, which recognizes leadership and commitment to higher education and contributions to the greater good, is one of many that Padrón has received this year. Other awards Padrón has garnered this year include the 2012 National Citizen Service Award from Voices for National Service and the 2012 Sand in my Shoes Award from the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.
