4.0 GPA Scholarship

The Vera Simpson Howard Scholarship will be available to all degree-seeking students enrolled in their second year at Miami Dade College.

To be eligible, students must have a cumulative GPA of a 4.0. MDC's Honors College students are not eligible to apply.

One student from each of the eight MDC campuses will receive a $1,500 award, which can be used for tuition, fees and books.

Applications can be downloaded from the MDC website and must be mailed to the District Financial Aid Office, and be postmarked by May 25.
