Miami Dade College Provost Rolando Montoya has been appointed by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C to be part of the Board of Directors of the Federal Bank of Atlanta’s Miami Branch.
Fifteen students from Cuba arrived in Miami on January 13 to study abroad at Miami Dade College. The visit marks the first collective academic visit from Cuba in 55 years. The students will be spending a semester in South Florida.
WLRN-Miami Herald radio news reporter/producer Kenny Malone will share his view of radio’s unique character as a media outlet and how it afforded him an entryway into the field of journalism.
