Proctored Testing Checklist

  • Read the Testing Dishonesty and Behavioral Guidelines.
  • Find the testing location most convenient to you.
  • If you plan to take your exam on a Saturday or a Wednesday evening, you must make an appointment. Appointments are only taken on specific dates.  View schedule for information.
  • If you have questions about the exam, ask your professor before you arrive at the Testing Center. The Testing staff cannot answer any questions about your test.
  • Arrive at the Testing Center at least 10 minutes before the start of the test.
  • Arrive before the last check-in time. You will not be allowed to take your test if you are late.
  • Bring two forms of identification.

    • One must be a current official photo ID from the following list:
      • Valid Driver’s License issued by the United States
      • Florida or Government ID card
      •  A valid passport
      • Military ID
      • Tribal ID
    • The second ID must have your name with a signature or a picture (e.g. MDC card, school ID, library card, social security card, voter registration card, credit/debit card, or other official ID bearing the student’s name and signature).
  • Bring required printed course schedule showing that you are enrolled in the course you will be accessing for the test.
  • Don’t bring any materials (pens or pencils, paper, textbooks, notes, calculator, etc) unless your instructor specifies otherwise.
  • During your exam, do not send email, access other programs or websites, or use unauthorized materials.
  • Only students taking tests are permitted in the testing center. Do not bring children to the testing center.
