MDC Student Account & ID

myMDC Account

Why do I need to create an MDC student account?

  • You must have your myMDC account to register and access online courses and College Services.
  • The account you create will generate a new MDC e-mail address for the college to inform you of important events, dates and academic resources.
  • If you forgot your password, click here to reset it.

How do I get started?

  • After the College receives your application, you may create your MDC Student Account.
  • Your new myMDC account will provide you with a login and password to enter our learning management system—where you will find your Virtual College courses.

MDC ID

Do I have to obtain an MDC ID if I’m an out-of-area student?

  • Absolutely! Miami Dade College must verify your identity before allowing you to take online courses.

How do I get started?

  • As part of the application procedure, students who reside outside of Miami-Dade County must complete and mail this notarized MDC ID Application with a copy of your passport, driver’s license or state identification.
  • The Virtual College will create MDC ID’s for out-of-area students only.
  • All documents must be current. Any expired government-issued ID will NOT be accepted.
