Textbooks

Attention All Students!

  • Begin a successful semester by purchasing your textbooks at least a week prior to the beginning of each term.
  • You will need to know your course ID (e.g. ENC 1101) and the course reference number. These can be found on your course schedule.

How do I purchase textbooks? You have three choices:

  1. Textbooks may be ordered and purchased through the MDC Bookstore Online
  2. Textbooks may be ordered by telephone for delivery or pick-up. Call the MDC Bookstore nearest you for availability or to order.
  3. Visit an MDC Bookstore to purchase your textbooks.

Where do I pick up my textbooks?

  • Select which campus is most convenient for you and call to find out if your books are available.
  • You may then visit one of the six MDC Campus Bookstores to pick up your books:
    •  Homestead Campus: 305.237.5042
    • Kendall Campus: 305.237.2361
    • Medical Center Campus: 305.237.4178
    • North Campus: 305.237.1247
    • Wolfson Campus: 305.237.3236
    • The Miami Dade College Bookstores accept cash, checks, and money orders.

How do I have my textbooks shipped?

  • If you would like to have your textbooks shipped, but do not wish to use a credit card, call the Kendall Campus Bookstore at (305) 237-2361, and they will take your order and instruct you where to send a check or money order.
  • The check or money order must be received before the textbook can be shipped, so be sure to allow enough time for mailing.
  • Any textbook in stock will be processed and shipped within one business day (Monday - Friday except certain holidays) of receipt of order.
  • Remember that textbooks sent via ground delivery service within the U.S. will generally arrive within 3-5 business days. Also, keep in mind that most shipping companies do not deliver to PO Boxes, or on weekends or holidays.
