Surraiya Bano

I am Surraiya Bano, and I was born in Khyber Hunza, Pakistan. I got my early education at Sost Hunza. Then, I received a scholarship from Agha Khan Education Service. Then, I moved to another village to join college (FG GIRLS COLLEGE KARIMABAD HUNZA). It was difficult to further my education. So again, I applied for a scholarship, and earned it.

After that I came to Rawalpindi, Pakistan and did my graduation in commerce from Rawal Pindi College of Commerce (RCC). I also did an internship in Serena hotel in the Audit Department. Then, I started my professional life as an accountant at AL Rahim Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society Gilgit. I worked there for three years before earning a big opportunity to come to the USA through the Community College Initiative Program.
