The Associate degree nursing options are approved by the Florida State Board of Nursing and accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).

Articulation

Graduates of Miami Dade College’s Associate in Science degree in nursing option may apply to any public college or university in Florida to earn their baccalaureate degree. Although specific selection requirements will apply, graduates will be given recognition for their MDC coursework. The School of Nursing also has signed articulation agreements with Florida International University, California State University at Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) and Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The CSUDH and Drexel programs are offered through Distance Education. Articulation agreements are under development with other colleges and universities to assure that MDC’s nursing graduates have the opportunity to build on their education and earn a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.
