Borrowing Privileges 

Currently registered MDC students, faculty and staff must present an MDCard to borrow library materials. Members of the MDC Alumni Association must present their alumni card to receive borrowing privileges.

In addition, currently registered students and employees from the State University System and/or the Community College System must present a valid ID from their home institution to receive borrowing privileges.

Members of the Southeast Florida Library Information Network (SEFLIN) must present their SEFLIN library card to receive borrowing privileges.

Reciprocal Borrowing (using your card in other libraries)

Current students, faculty, and staff with a valid MDC Card may receive borrowing privileges at the libraries of all community colleges and publicly funded state universities in Florida. In addition, the MDC Libraries participate in SEFLIN and have reciprocal arrangements with all SEFLIN member libraries. A SEFLIN library card issued at the borrower’s home campus or public library is required to receive borrowing privileges.
