Reference librarians are available to help users find and use information efficiently and effectively. The Medical Center Campus librarians are dedicated to teaching information and research skills for locating and evaluating information for research papers and other projects. The reference librarians are actively involved in teaching APA Style, health information literacy and other aspects of library instruction.
The reference librarians also provide “virtual reference” service via Ask-a-Librarian where users can email questions or chat live with a librarian.
Reference Collection
The Reference Collection mainly contains medical dictionaries, atlases, indexes, directories, and a variety of other medical books for consultation. The reference collection does not circulate outside the library.
