                      to Student Life at Medical  Campus The 
                      Student Life Office develops and implements services and 
                      activities for the Medical  Campus students that will 
                      enhance their personal development as well as offer opportunities 
                      for cultural enrichment and community involvement.  The 
                      Office of Student Life is the place to go to obtain an official 
                      M-DCCard, students and employees must have IDs. Students 
                      must bring a copy of their current paid schedule, an official 
                      ID, such as a Drivers License, Passport, or police 
                      ID. Employees must be entered in the M-DCC Odyssey system 
                      and must be approved by the Office of the Dean for Administration 
                      prior to obtaining an ID. The 
                      Office of Student Life oversees all of the clubs and organizations 
                      at the Medical  Campus. The Student Government Association 
                      and the Student Budget Committee are housed in the Student 
                      Life Office. We provide guidance and help, as well as the 
                      applications, for fund raising activities, student travel 
                      and forming a new student organization. The 
                      Office of Student Life produces an Orientation for all the 
                      students who are new to the Medical Campus Campus. These 
                      Orientations are held in the beginning of the Fall and Spring 
                      terms. Representatives from all areas that provide service 
                      to students are actively involved in this Orientation. The 
                      Office of Student Life produces a New Student Handbook at 
                      the beginning of each academic year, which is distributed 
                      to all students. In Addition, many other publications, such 
                      as the M-DCC Students Rights and Responsibilities Handbook, 
                      the Safety & Security brochure are given 
                      out to new students. The 
                      Office of Student Life also coordinates the yearly Campus 
                      Commencement exercises that are held at the end of the Spring 
                      term. The 
                      Office of Student Life coordinates extracurricular activities, 
                      loans out equipment for basketball, football, board games, 
                      cards or dominoes. Students may also watch television, study 
                      or schedule organization meetings in the student lounge 
                      located in Room 1190. The Office of Student Life rents lockers 
                      to students; and loans out equipment such as (oven for baking 
                      cookies, popcorn machine) for fund raising for student organizations. The 
                      Student Life Office publishes the Campus Newsletter, the 
                      Antidote. Students and employees may submit articles for 
                      publication. The Antidote is printed during the Fall and 
                      Spring semesters. The 
                      Office of Student works with other departments of the College 
                      to provide events that positively impact students.
