Welcome
to Student Life at Medical Campus
The
Student Life Office develops and implements services and
activities for the Medical Campus students that will
enhance their personal development as well as offer opportunities
for cultural enrichment and community involvement.
The
Office of Student Life is the place to go to obtain an official
M-DCCard, students and employees must have IDs. Students
must bring a copy of their current paid schedule, an official
ID, such as a Drivers License, Passport, or police

The
Office of Student Life oversees all of the clubs and organizations
at the Medical Campus. The Student Government Association
and the Student Budget Committee are housed in the Student
Life Office. We provide guidance and help, as well as the
applications, for fund raising activities, student travel
and forming a new student organization.
The
Office of Student Life produces an Orientation for all the
students who are new to the Medical Campus Campus. These
Orientations are held in the beginning of the Fall and Spring
terms. Representatives from all areas that provide service
to students are actively involved in this Orientation. The
Office of Student Life produces a New Student Handbook at
the beginning of each academic year, which is distributed
to all students. In Addition, many other publications, such
as the M-DCC Students Rights and Responsibilities Handbook,
the Safety & Security brochure are given
out to new students.
The
Office of Student Life also coordinates the yearly Campus
Commencement exercises that are held at the end of the Spring
term.
The
Office of Student Life coordinates extracurricular activities,
loans out equipment for basketball, football, board games,
cards or dominoes. Students may also watch television, study
or schedule organization meetings in the student lounge
located in Room 1190. The Office of Student Life rents lockers
to students; and loans out equipment such as (oven for baking
cookies, popcorn machine) for fund raising for student organizations.
The
Student Life Office publishes the Campus Newsletter, the
Antidote. Students and employees may submit articles for
publication. The Antidote is printed during the Fall and
Spring semesters.
