  T.A.B.E Exemptions
   Take the Tests of Adult Basic Education (T.A.B.E.), forms 9a or 10a, or have evaluated any higher educational qualifications (such as, an Associate degree or higher). Call (305) 237-4275 for the TESTING department at the Medical Campus. Students who have been officially admitted into the college may take the TABE at any MDC campus. Students should visit the VCSRC after testing and bring with them the T.A.B.E. results/ report for program admission, evaluation and assessment.

 EXEMPTIONS: Associate of Arts, Associate in Science, Associate in Applied Science degrees, or higher (only USA degrees apply), CPT, CLAST, or SAT/ ACT results may be considered for TABE exemption. Official transcripts of college degrees must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar, Medical Campus (950 NW 20th Street, Miami, FL 33127), prior to program selection. CPT, CLAST, SAT or ACT scores must be less than 2 years old before the program’s start date and official test reports submitted to the TESTING department, room #1303, for evaluation prior to program selection.

 NON-MDC T.A.B.E Reports:  Reports must meet the following requirements: reports must be less than 2-years old before the date of program admission; scores from test forms 9 or 10, level A, on a “Student Multi-Referenced Report”, will be considered for program admission. Students must have official copies of testing reports sent or submitted to the Testing Director at the Medical Campus - 950 NW 20th Street, Miami, FL 33127
