"MEED has a long standing commitment of supporting students with disabilities. While the employment rate for the general population is in the 5% range, the unemployment rate for working age individuals with disabilities ranges from 50 % to 79% even though the vast majority can work and want to work. The MEED Program proactively responds to this situation by providing short term college and vocational training and job placement assistance."
