We can provide you with a taped version, a copy on disk, in a file we would be happy to email to you, a large-print presentation or a rendering in grade II braille. Both these web pages and the booklet contain important information about your rights and responsibilities as a student at MDC. In addition to this information, there is a more general booklet on the Rights and Responsibilities of all students which is available in all the above formats as well. That book tells you how to handle more general problems that may arise during your stay at MDC North.

The purpose of this information is to make certain that you understand what your rights are as a disabled student and what your responsibilities are to this department. We want to do all that we can to make sure that you get all the services that you might need to be successful here. We also want you to understand the things that you can do that might jeopardize your continued eligibility for our services.

This information is divided into several sections. Some of these sections will be more valuable to you than others. You should read each section and ask any questions you may have once you have read them.

If you have any questions please email Kesia Vazquez Director of ACCESS or call at 305-237-1146.
